From Hindukush to Hindustan, no place for the Hindus?

Every single opponent to the CAB in Parliament House and on media channels spoke about the Muslims and their rights but none of them, not one, spoke about the miseries and the unending pains of the Hindus.

Hindus do not matter to the Indian political elite and the media channels at all. This despite the fact that almost all of them are owned by the Hindus. It is not secularly beneficial to see and write and speak about the Hindus and whether they have a place to call their own on this planet. Like the Jews, the word Hindu has been subjected to so much contempt and hate that an Indian diplomat is reprimanded editorially for speaking about them, a Congresswoman is assaulted for belonging to this faith and an entire spectrum of politically ‘smart’ opposition in a Hindu majority nation huddles together as if to attack an enemy to oppose a Bill that seeks to shelter the persecuted, humiliated and terrorized Hindus from the neighbouring Islamic regimes.

Slavish mindset

Such is the impact of the colonial slave mindset on our anglicized media that it has become a new fashion to say – I am proud to be a Muslim or I will convert to Islam if CAB is passed, while declaring that it is the Muslims who are living in fear and are facing Zulam and Atyachaar for the last five years (as I heard on one secular channel last evening ).

Try saying “I am proud to be a Hindu,” and you will be hounded out of the discussion and drowned in the noises of a ‘politically correct’ crowd as a Muslim hater, a lyncher, a Cow urine drinker or a bigot who is poisoning India’s secular atmosphere.

This is how a ‘terrified’ Muslim and their sympathizer secular Hindus living in fear of the Hindus behave on TV screens and on the streets.

A mountain called Hindukush

There is a mountain in Afghanistan, perhaps the only place and a popular location on the strategic maps, that’s named contemptuously against a people and their dharma . It is known as ‘Hindukush’. It means – a mountain of “crushed Hindus”. There are different versions to its history, but all converge on one fact – this was a place where Hindus were subjected to atrocities and were crushed to extinction.

It is a testimony of Islamic savagery against Hindus and how they rejoiced in naming the mountain announcing the crushing deaths of the Hindus.

And Hindus, once a large majority in Afghanistan, the Afghan Hindus, the Pathan Hindus simply became extinct and turned refugees taking shelter in Germany and other countries.

Hindustan never bothers about them. There are some Afghan Hindus living in Delhi. You can meet them to know what it cost them to be here. I can hear the cries and the laments of those helpless Hindus crushed on that mountain echoed in the frenzied slogans against CAB at Jantar Mantar.

The contemptuous name of the Hindukush mountain doesn’t bother anyone either.

It hasn’t occurred odd to even those donor nations, like India, the largest provider of funds and material help to Kabul, to raise this issue with the new regime to have the name of the mountain changed. India, ironically, still remains the last bastion of the Hindus and is a numerically Hindu majority nation (though wrapped in an anti-Hindu political atmosphere ) felt shy to speak on Hindu issues till Modi-Shah regime of the BJP emerged and began a new narrative.

Silencing Hindus is ‘ political correctness’ ?

Till BJP came to power, insult and humiliation of the Hindus was as natural as abduction of the Hindu daughters in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Ostracizing Buddhists, discrimination against H/S/C/Bs was as obvious as the killing of the Sikhs in Peshawar and Kabul. As routinely accepted as to see the Afghan, Sindhi, Kashmiri Hindu refugees are considered to be a natural, ‘logical’ outcome of living in Muslim majority areas.

Not a single Muslim ‘secular’ has thought it a compassionate Islamic duty to deride and condemn the barbarism of the rulers, politicians and Islamic extremists against a minuscule, hidden in their own shells Hindu, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist minorities facing atrocities by the brute majority Islamists.

Christian organisations in Washington and in European countries speak so vociferously on atrocities of their flock in Pakistan but the Indian Church keeps a studied, strategic silence over such incidents in Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar.

Yes, they do speak politically but only when they have to attack the Hindus. They openly forge an alliance with Islamists, against Hindus in India and issue political instructions in press releases from the Church offices under their signatures against the BJP and the RSS. Have you ever seen a single voice of protest to the Pakistan High Commissioner in Delhi sent by any conscientious archbishop about atrocities on Christians in Pakistan? Never. But they do issue statements on and invoke the intervention of foreign Christian governments to intervene in India ‘as the minorities are in danger’ because of the Modi regime.

The voice of Shankar Lalwani

Shankar Lalwani, a Sindhi, whose family migrated from Pakistan under horrifying conditions, is a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, who was speaking with facts on CAB debate in the House when he was abruptly asked to end his speech and sit down. He was stunned as among all members, he had a special privilege to speak on the pains and sufferings of the Hindus who are subjected to most savage atrocities in Pakistan for being a Hindu.

But his is not the only case of those who want to support the CAB. Before the advent of Islam and Christianity, the entire land on this side of the river Indus was known to the world as Hindoostan, the land of those who profess a faith that has never been translated as a religion but is known as a way of living.

Just the conversions, forced or otherwise, turned the same blood people so much again their own ilk that a new country was created in 1947 as the Muslims declared they can’t live with Hindus and they are a separate Quom, a separate nation.

Now even in a divided India, the India that was supposed to be a place – the only place on this planet, where Hindus can breathe happily as Hindus, the minimum space is being denied to them in the name of secularism, which has become practically a Muslim League 2 — mentality to humiliate the Hindus.

A generation of the Hindus, that has never seen or read anything about the unspeakable atrocities Hindus were subjected to during the partition, speak of Hindus as if they are an alien and a threat to their peaceful secular life in Hindustan. The Muslim League-seculars falsify the narrative and say – the white that you present in CAB is, in fact, a black and if you say not it is white then you are unconstitutional and a Muslim-hater.

You can’t have an argument. You may continue saying that the CAB has nothing to do with the Indian Muslims, it doesn’t affect them, it is a humble step to provide relief to the persecuted and numbed Hindu, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist minorities living in the Islamic regimes in our neighbourhood. But they will say – no – it is to help the Hindus alone and hence ‘is against the Muslims’. How?

Say – your white is black otherwise we shall oppose it.

The entire exercise has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with the Muslim cause or helping the minorities.

It is another ploy to hit out at the Modi-Shah regime and to see that the new dispensation in politics of India that has brought so many refreshing changes, that are to their dislike, is shaken up and gone.

The game is to hit Modi, by any way, like they did in His Gujarat days and create an echo system that defies the peoples’ mandate and the democratic voices. They are a crowd that is defeated and rejected by the people. But through manoeuvrings and manipulations trying to put nails on the path of New India’s journey.
