Hyderabad: City Police solves Kerosene Bomb attack cases in old city Planned by a gang for creating riots like that of Delhi riots against CAA and NRC
Two temples situated in the Hyderabad old city were targeted and kerosene bombs were thrown in order to create unrest. The efforts of the gang were not fruitful as the bombs did not explode.
Two youth were caught by the South Zone task force of Madannapet police station after 10 days of vigorous investigation.
Prior to bomb attack to create communal tension, the accused had conducted recky for 4 days in various places. The gangsters came on Activa vehicle, lit the kerosene bombs brought by them, threw them on the temple and escaped.
CC camera footage played a very important role in this investigation.
The police had solved the kerosene bomb case though they were totally busy in implementation of Corona lock down.
One person who was identified as Harshad from Riyasath Nagar and another as Wasi from Baba Nagar were arrested. One of the accused Harshad is stated to be the key person and doubted to have undergone training in a terrorist organisation.
As per the South Zone Police, Startling facts were revealed in the police investigation.
– Three kerosene bombs were thrown on Pochamma temple located in Madannapet
– ATM situated in Chandrayangutta completely damaged
– Midhani Bus was set on fire
– A temple located in Santosh Nagar was attacked by a kerosene bomb
It is assumed that banned terrorist organisations are behind these attacks.
