Demanding the revoking of the ban on the head of Sri Peetham of Kakinada Swami Paripoornananda, the VHP and Bajrang Dal will stage a road blockade in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Speaking to the reporters on Wednesday, VHP Telangana state president Rama Raju said that the Telangana government’s order to extern Swami Paripoornananda from Hyderabad city for six months is an insult to Hindu community and demanded to withdraw the externment orders.
He further they would stage a road blockade across Telangana on Thursday in this regard and also organise a convention of seers soon if the orders are not withdrawn.
The VHP leader also condemned the preventive arrests of BJP legislators and leaders who were on their way to meet Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on the matter.
Swami Paripoornananda was externed on July 10 for allegedly making provocative statements targeting other communities and their leaders.
