Dharwad, 29 October: A resolution has been passed in the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal meeting of RSS, regarding attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, said Arun Kumar Ji, Sah Sarkaryavah.
The attack on Hindu society in Bangladesh is not a sudden event. An attempt has been made to create communal frenzy on the basis of fake news and it was a planned attempt to eradicate the Hindu society. He said that the resolution expressed grief over the violent attacks on Hindus and strongly condemned the continuing brutal violence on the Hindu minorities there and the conspiracy of jihadi organizations for the widespread Islamization of Bangladesh.
It has been said in the resolution that the real purpose of repeated violence targeting Hindu society is the complete extermination of Hindu society from Bangladesh, as a result of which the population of Hindu society is decreasing continuously since the time of Partition. At the time of partition, the population of Hindus in East Bengal was about twenty eight percent, it has now come down to about eight percent. A large number of Hindus had to migrate to India since the Partition period, especially during the 1971 war, due to atrocities by radical Islamist groups such as the Jamaat-e-Islami (Bangladesh).
The Sangh expressed concern over the deep silence of the so-called human rights watchdog organizations and UN organizations and called on the international community to come forward to condemn the violence and protect and defend Bangladesh’s Hindu, Buddhist and other minority communities and also raise your voice for their safety. The emergence of radical Islamic power in Bangladesh or any other part of the world will prove to be a serious threat to the democratic system and human rights of the peace-loving countries of the world.
In the resolution, the karyakari Mandal appreciated ISKCON, Ramakrishna Mission, Bharat Sevashram Sangh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and many Hindu organizations and institutions for helping the families of the victims of violence. The karyakari Mandal also requested the Government of India, using all available diplomatic channels, to apprise the Government of Bangladesh of the concerns of Hindu society and institutions around the world about the invasions and human rights abuses taking place in Bangladesh so that to ensure the safety of Hindus and Buddhists there.
Arun Kumar Ji was sharing information in the press conference on the second day of the meeting of the karyakari Mandal of the Sangh held in Dharwad (Karnataka).
He said that the supreme decision-making body of the Sangh is the Pratinidhi Sabha, which meets once a year in March. The second top most constitutional body is the karyakari Mandal and its meeting is going on here. In the meeting of the Pratinidhi Sabha held in March, the calendar of events for the year and tour programs of the Akhil Bharatiya adhikaris is planned. One of the agenda of the October meeting is to review the work done so far in the year.
He said that collecting money in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan was not the main objective of the Sangh. The Sangh believed that on the call of the TRUST the people of the society are ready to give. There has been participation of the whole society in Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan, so the goal of reaching maximum people of the society was fixed. And out of 6.5 lakh (estimated figure) villages in the country, the karyakartas reached 5.34 lakh villages, reached all the settlements in all the cities. Karyakartas reached about 12.73 crore families in the campaign. It is not so that only Sangh workers worked in the Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan, a large number of people joined with self-motivation. 25 to 30 lakh men and women Karyakartas participated in the campaign.
Similarly, during the Corona pandemic, the challenge was also huge, and the response from the society was also collective. Everyone worked together; many new people joined us and wanted to work with us. To connect all these people with our work permanently, a discussion was held in the meeting of March. In this meeting, this was also reviewed from the point of view of expansion of work.
Sah Sarkaryavah said that in the meeting of the month of March, there was an idea to connect all these people with the work of ‘Paryavaran Samrakshan’, ‘Kutumb Prabhodan’, ‘Samajik Samarasata’ and ‘Samajik Sadbhav’ initiatives of sangh. It was decided to work on the lines to see that these four initiatives should become as the activities of the society. The efforts and experiences so far regarding this have been reviewed in the meeting. Along with this, the country is celebrating 75 years of independence. What can be done and what should be done on 75 years of independence the ‘Amrit Mahotsav’ has also been discussed and reviewed in the meeting.
