In the closing ceremony of the fourth edition of Chitra Bharati Film Festival, held in Bhopal, Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L. Murugan said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, while India is progressing continuously, on the other hand it is also returning to the roots of its civilization and culture. Making sure that our culture is accessible to everyone, it is also important to tell stories related to culture to the people and I’m very happy to know that such films are being though Chitra Bharti.

He also that in Indian literature there are a lot of stories that shows the Indian culture . But I wonder why movies are not made on them. In present times, movies are a strong medium through which the word of India can be conveyed to the world.I congratulate Bhartiya Chitra Sadhna for organizing Chitra Bharati Film Festival. It is a matter of importance that a large number of filmmakers from across the country have enthusiastically participated in the film festival.
At the end of the program, the chairman of the organizing committee, Dilip Suryavanshi expressed his gratitude. Chitra Bharathi film festival has made such an environment that after Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi,Kolkata, Bhopal can become the main center of film production.

Vivek Agnihotri and Pallavi Joshi honored

Producer-directors of ‘The Kashmir Files’ Vivek Agnihotri and Pallavi Joshi were honored on this occasion. Everyone present in the auditorium stood up and paid respect to both of them.

Actor Pallavi Joshi of ‘The Kashmir Files’ said two artists would be taken in their next film as per the suggestions given by Chitra Bharati and also they will be given one lakh rupees each .

On this occasion, eminent film actor Mukesh Tiwari said that believe in the beauty of your dreams. The platform of Chitra Bharati is with you to make them come true. At the same time, director Abhinav Kashyap said that it is our duty to support the younger generation and give them leadership opportunities.

Member of the jury, Yogesh Soman, while sharing his experience said that films that were showcased in Chitra Bharati Film festival had innovation in their subject.Atul Gangwar, general secretary, gave information about the Indian Chitra Sadhna and Chitra Bharati Film Festival. On this occasion all the members of Screening Committee and Jury were felicitated. Along with this, film director-producers Sunil Puranic and Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan were also felicitated.

The programme was hosted by Mahabharat fame renowned voice artist Dr. Harish Bhimani did it.
