A seminar on “National Security and Film Making” was organised by Samachara Bharati Cultural Association on 15th August 2017 in the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce Hall, Film Nagar, Hyderabad.
The program was focussed on short film makers. Speaking on the occasion, chief guest, Kargil War veteran, Wing Cdr (R) Capt Bal Reddy said that not only the Soldiers on the border, every citizen must contribute towards national security. The role of films is immense in inspiring youngsters with patriotism and also in creating awareness on important national issues. He urged the short film makers to venture into this direction and incidents concerning national causes.
General Secretary of Samachara Bharati, Sri Ayush said that ideas in society and film industry are being influenced by many external forces without their knowledge. This influence is subtle in many ways. It is important that good film makers overcome this influence aspects, network among themselves and thereby build a positive influence in society and film making in general.
The short film makers also gave their suggestions and inputs on this topic and resolved to create films with positive appeal.
Sri Sumanth Paranij, Sri Rajasekhar and few other elders belonging to the film fraternity were part of this program.
