Appreciating the success of Doklam diplomacy under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Sunday asserted that the move has enhanced the global credibility of Indian where China reverted its forces from the border.
Addressing the presser on the concluding day of three-day (Sept 1-3) Co-ordination meeting RSS Prachar Pramukh Dr. Manmohan Vaidya said that for the first time India showcased its strategic acumen on the international front proving its mettle.
Vaidya further mentioned that the issues related to foreign policy were discussed during three-day meet where members floated their ideas and view to how to strengthen the position of India.
Commenting on the decision of demonetization the senior RSS functionary stated that this historic decision will pave the way for strengthening the fast growing economy of the country.
DD news quoted Vaidya as saying, “Earlier, the country was in a shock but now people are realizing that the demonetization decision will benefit the country in the long run,”. This is for the first time a word of praise came from a top RSS functionary extending its support to demonetization.
When asked about the stand of RSS on the import of cheap Chinese goods Dr. Vaidya reiterated that RSS fully supports the national wide movement initiated by Swadeshi Jagran Manch. He further mentioned that there were discussions on promoting domestic small scale industry and creation of employment in the country
Refuting the reports of political discussion for upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha polls Vaidya stated that the meeting was called for better coordination among all RSS affiliates.
