The targeted killings of Hindu activists in Karnataka are growing. A 33 year old RSS Swayamsevak Sri Magali Ravi was hacked to death at Periyapatna, Mysuru in Karnataka on 4 November.
Ravi was returning on home after attending a meeting called by local police inspector on the issue related Tippu Jayanti and protests on it. Sri Ravi was active functionary and serving as BJP Mysuru Jilla vice president.
People are planning for mass protest in Mysuru to oppose Karnataka government plans of holding Tippu Jayanti on November 7, 2016.
Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has strongly condemned this murder and demanded immediate arrest of culprits behind this brutal attack.
In October 2016, RSS has passed a resolution condemning the killing of its cadre mainly in Kerala and Karnataka, and appealed to respective state and central governments to take punitive action against perpetrators.
In the last two year, seven RSS swayamsevaks were murdered in Karnataka state.
