Diwali Milan by WOSY at Osmania University celebrated with gaiety

“Bharat is a land of festivals, celebrations, gaiety and happiness. Our ancestors ingrained the concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (Whole world is one family) and we are glad that we are able to share this happiness with all of you as family members”,  said Sri Ayush Nadimpalli, General Secretary of Samachara Bharati Cultural Association. He addressed the #Diwali Milan as Guest of Honour organised by World Organisation of Students and Youth (#WOSY) in Osmania University,  PGRRCDE auditorium. Over 300 students from 30 countries studying in Osmania University participated in the milan.

“WOSY and India ensures that we don’t feel homesick” was the common feeling of students who came from various corners of the globe .

Dr. G.B.Reddy, Senior Professor in the Department of Law was Chief guest of program. He wished that the festival of lights illuminate all our lives and eliminate all forms of sorrow and ignorance.

Office bearers of WOSY, Sri Chandrasekhar from Bharat, Sri Mohammad from Palestine and Kum.Ashriya from Mauritius also shared their Diwali wishes. WOSY has been operational for over 3 decades in Bharat and about a decade in Hyderabad and takes care of the welfare of the students who come to study from various parts of the world. 

Teams from various countries presented dances from which they generally dance to during celebrations in their respective countries.
