Congress in Karnataka tries to forge electoral alliance with radicals, with the support of high-command as said by the state president Parameshwara. Social Democratic Party of India( SDPI), the political front of Popular Front of India (PFI), demanded 50 seats for it. There is a strong resentment against congress who tries to forge alliance with anti-Indian forces.
The decision by congress to forge alliance with the political face of PFI in contesting the sub-election was released by a national media, and that the first rounds of talks are over. It is known that the workers of Popular Front have been arrested in various radical activities in Kerala and Karnataka, including the hand-chopping of a college lecturer.
Those Indians arrested for joining Islamic state (IS) are majorly from Popular Front, as reported by investigating agencies, and they are also involved in the murders of Hindu organizations, and it is in this backdrop that congress is forging alliance with SDPI.
