New Delhi, March 23: National Investigation Agency NIA has filed a new charge sheet against Pakistan-based Falah-e-Insaniyat FIF.
Chargesheet has been filed in India for causing many terrorist incidents. The FIF is a front organization of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). It is accused of creating a sleeper cell in Delhi and Haryana. The charge sheet filed against FIF was also named after the name of the founder of LET, Hafiz Saeed.
Officials say that this will strengthen India’s stand and expose the lie of Pakistan. This will prove that neighbouring countries use their countrymen for terrorist activities.
Names of Muhammad Salman, 51, a Delhi resident, and 62-year-old Mohammed Kamran (absconding) of Pakistani nationals are included in the charge sheet. In the statement released on Friday, the NIA said that after investigation it was found that Head of the FIF Hafiz and his associate Shahid Mahmood in 2012 provided religious functions such as mosque construction, education of madrasa, financial assistance for the marriage of Muslim girls. Under the cover of Delhi and Haryana, the work of making sleeper cell and logistic base.
NIA says, Kamran identified some Indians based in Dubai, one of them Mohammad Salman, who is from New Delhi. He started transferring large amount through hawala in the name of religious functions.
For this work, he built Khulafa-e-Rashidin Mosque in Palwal, Haryana and married Muslim girls. Mohammed Salman, who was from Dubai, got a lot of money from Mohammed Kamran for these tasks. Further investigations are ongoing in this case. The accused are being investigated under section 173 (8) of the Indian Penal Code.
