Jan. 08, 2020 – The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) organization extends to about 60,000 places across the country and 29 countries of the world. For the upliftment of Hindu society, more than 1 lakh (100,000) service projects are operational under Vishva Hindu Parishad in the fields of education, health services/medicine, skill development, economic self-reliance, women empowerment, etc. In the Malwa region also a plan has been worked out to enhance service activities of the organization.
The central government has made CAA to provide citizenship and security to religious minorities (Hindus, Jains, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, Christians, etc.) who have been persecuted in the Islamic countries of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. The Government of India must be thanked for this! The said three being Islamic countries, the Muslims are not minorities there, are not also religiously persecuted. The CAA being related only to the religiously persecuted minorities that came to India from these countries, it has nothing to do with Indian Muslims. Four days ago, the attack by a Muslim crowd after their Friday prayers on Sri Nankana Sahib Gurdwara – the Holy Nativity Temple of the Founding Master of the Sikh School of Spirituality Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Pakistan – is the latest case in point of such Jihadi attacks on Hindu-Sikh minorities. This Muslim mob was led by the Muslim family who kidnapped and converted to Islam the daughter of the Granthiji (Chief Priest) of this Gurdwara – one of the most celebrated holy sites in Sikh tradition. Vishva Hindu Parishad strongly condemns the events of the Jamia Milia Islamia University in Delhi and the violent and vicious protests of Muslims in West Bengal, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and the destruction of national property by them! The communists and other political parties are supporting such violent and sadistic incidents for minority appeasement and vote-bank politics. A Tukde-Tukde gang member also showed a placard of “Free Kashmir” in the demonstrations held in Mumbai yesterday. These tell volumes about their agenda against “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”. VHP will organize many public awakening and mobilization programmes all over the country, including the Malwa region, so that people can well appreciate the CAA and hold it against the anti-CAA propagandists. Being a Hindu organization, every possible effort and cooperation will also be made on its part to ensure Indian citizenship for the Hindu-Sikh-Buddhist, &c, refugees.
The Andhra Pradesh government has been indulging in various anti-Hindu and unconstitutional activities, such as illegal acquisition of landed assets of Hindu temples, distributing salaries from ‘secular’ government funds/tax payers’ money to Christian clergies and Muslim clerics, positioning non-Hindus to operate and manage Hindu temples and oversee its rituals and services. Such decisions have also been taken recently. The Vishva Hindu Parishad strongly condemns such offensive proselytizing moves of the state government. In the month of January-2020, a memorandum movement will be organized against such abominable acts in all 731 districts across the country and, in Andhra Pradesh, a huge movement will be organized against such decisions of the state government. VHP will also go to court for cancellation of such illegal and unconstitutional decisions.
