Baba Ramdev to set up free residential school for martyred soldiers in Delhi

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev during Patanjali’s annual press conference in New Delhi on May 4 announced the opening of ‘Patanjali Aavasiya Sainik School’ this year. The Yoga Guru launched a new business policy called ‘Prosperity for Charity’ under which a residential school will be set up by the organisation. While addressing the conference he said, “Will open ‘Patanjali Aavasiya Sainik school’ this year for children of martyred soldiers, free of cost. The location will be around NCR.” He added, “people’s trust is our source of strength and Patanjali’s intention is not to make money.”

During the address, Baba Ramdev along with Acharya Bal Krishna also announced Patanjali’s annual turnover of the fiscal year 2016-17, and said it was at Rs 10,000 crore. Various things including the company’s business policies were elaborated upon by Ramdev. Today, while speaking at the annual press conference of Patanjali, he took on various popular MNC brands. He also informed about the company’s plans to open a manufacturing plant in Jammu as well. Rejecting allegations about the use of ‘gaumutra’ in Patanjali products, Ramdev claimed that people have been spreading false information. He said that Patanjali also fulfils every FSSAI criteria, and no one can accuse its products of providing false information.

Baba Ramdev exuded confidence that Patanjali will be the largest brand in India within 1-2 years. Rejecting allegations over the brand’s products, Ramdev said, “people are spreading false news about Patanjali.” He also said that his company would replace Chinese products sold in India.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated a Patanjali Research Institute in Haridwar.
