Security forces immediately after paying their last respects to BSF Head Constable RP Hazra who was martyred on Wednesday in ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba Sector took the revenge in a grand manner. Border Security Forces (BSF) in retaliation to ceasefire destroyed two posts of Pakistani troops along International Border in Jammu district.

Notably, the personnel of Border Security Forces on Thursday morning thwarted an infiltration along the International Border in Jammu district and eliminated one of the intruders and also destroyed two Pakistani posts. In this retaliation, around 10 -12 Pakistani Rangers were killed.

The incident took place in the morning in Arnia area of RS Pura sector of Jammu and Kashmir when BSF observed the movement of two to three people along the border. BSF personnel opened fire resulting in the death of one of the intruders while the others managed to escape. Also taking a step forward BSF personnel destroyed two Pakistani posts and eliminated 10 -12 Rangers.

This grand revenge comes after BSF Head Constable RP Hazra on Wednesday, i.e on his birthday was martyred in ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba Sector. He was severely wounded after Pakistani border “sniped” from across the border at about 4 pm. He was later rushed to a medical centre where he succumbed to his injuries.

Ramawtar, IG BSF Jammu said, Our BSF soldier was deployed on forward duty point when Pakistan’s siphon shot hit him yesterday. BSF gave a solid response in which Pakistan’s infrastructure, solar panel & weapons were damaged and their posts suffered major loss.”

Hazra, who hails from Murshidabad in West Bengal, has served for about 27 years in the border guarding force. He is survived by a daughter (21) and son (18). Earlier, on December 23 of last year, an Army major and three soldiers were martyred along the LoC in Rajouri and in retaliatory action, Indian security forces eliminated 3 Pakistani rangers in PoK two days later. Indian forces crossed the LoC and entered in Rakhchikri area of Poonch of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and fired heavily upon the Pakistani army posts and killed three troopers of the neighbouring country.

Indian Security Forces once again targets Pakistani posts which bring back the memory of 2016’s surgical strikes, which the army conducted in response to Uri Attack and destroyed 5 to 6 Pakistani posts and eliminated 45 to 50 terrorists including troopers.
