RSS Sahsarkarvaah Dr. Krishan Gopal Ji said that had Guru Teg Bahadur not sacrificed his life the entire India would have converted into Islam and our ancient culture and civilisation would have ended. His and his family members’ sacrifice saved us, said Gopal Ji while releasing a book, “Hind Ki Chadar, Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji”.
He said the sacrifice of Guru Teg Bahadur demonstrated that one should remain firm in one’s decisions even if that required paying its one’s life. He regretted that the present generation was so unaware of such things. If the youth today wanted to achieve success, they should take inspiration from Guru Teg Bahadur ji, he added.
Sahsarkaryavah Ji said the lessons from the Sikh history and the Sikh Gurus could go a long way in preparing us protect our country, religion and the society. That’s why the book written by Sh. Vijay Gupta Ji was very relevant.
Dr Surjit Kaur Jolly, earlier gave an introduction to the subject of the book.
Founder of MDH group Mahashay Dharampal ji described Guru Teg Bahadur ji as protector of the entire humanity.
The programme was organised by the West Delhi unit of the Rashtriya Sikh Sangat. Sunil Shastri, son of late prime minister Sh. Lala Bahadur Shastri, Swami Agnivesh, Avinash Jaiswal, S. Devender Singh Gujral and Devender Singh kohli also attended the function.
