SAKSHAM, a charitable organisation working with an aim to bring all the people with various disabilities into the main stream, is planning for EMBRACE 2K18, a National level Corporate Summit on Inclusion at Hyderabad on June 22nd, 2018. Shri. Venkaiah Naidu Ji, the Vice president of India, will be inaugurating the conclave.
Marking its 10 years of service, the SAKSHAM’s Embrace 2K18 will be a unique platform where Inclusive Corporate firms share their experiences to the to-be-Inclusive firms on the Process Changes & Accessibility features that need to be implemented.
This summit provides a chance to the NGOs & NPOs to connect with corporate firms for figuring out a strategy in the form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with respect to Divyaang Skill Development &Self-Reliance.
The Summit deliberations will be on the following themes:
- Corporate firms & Individuals – generating Employment Opportunities and creating an Inclusive work environment for Divyaangs
- Corporate Divyaang achievers– Recognitionfollowed by presentation
- NGOs that are working for the betterment of Divyaangs – Recognition followed by presentation
The SAKSHAM (Samadrishti, Kshamata Vikas Evam Anusandhan Mandal ) works to enable the Divyaangs (Specially Abled) with the motto: “Saksham Bharat Samarth Bharat”.
SAKSHAM focuses on early identification, early rehabilitation, enablement and accessibility for Divyaangs by helping them to realize their potential to fulfill most essential requirements like education, soft skills, and career advancement.
Some of the projects run by SAKSHAM for integrated development of the disabled are Madhav Eye Bank, Madhav Audio Books Library, Madhav Braille Books Creation Centre, Krishnajvoti Agarbatthi Nirman Kendra, Blind Women Hostel, Swaradrishti, Surdas Bhaian Mandali, Legal Advise Cell, Saksham Photocopy Centre, Avurvedic Aushadi Nirman Kendra, Marriage Bureau For Physically Challenged, Recreation Center For Physically Handicapped, Saksham Low Vision Enhancement Centre and many more at regular intervals across the nation.
