With the spirit of `Sevahi Paramo Dharma’, youth of Karimnagar city have started feeding the poor and needy twice a day under the aegis of Spandana Welfare Society. Ever since the countrywide lockdown began, the youth are distributing food to the poor in the District Civil Hospital as well as all main centers in town twice a day. This activity has been going on continuously with the support of donors and active coordination with local Govt officials. Generally, the hospital is visited by thousands of people every-day, but since the lockdown began, the relatives of in-patients are stranded there; seeing their plight, Spandana welfare society started distributing food twice a day to them as well as to migrant labor, workers, beggars and destitutes.
